About me
I am a successful entrepreneur and leader, who has spent her career using communications to drive change.
With 25 years’ of experience in journalism, non-profit communications and leadership, I help individuals and teams solve complex problems and unlock brilliant solutions.
I am familiar with some of the world’s most pressing issues, including climate change, migration, conflict, and online harms. I am expert at communicating complexity without sacrificing nuance.
I also understand what it takes to build and nurture an effective team, and run an ethical, successful business. I believe everyone has innate potential and enjoy helping people thrive.
I founded di:ga Strategy and Communications in 2012 and grew it into a profitable and well-run business, with social impact at its heart.
di:ga’s clients include some of the world’s most credible and influential non-profit organisations - from Save the Children to Chatham House, Amnesty International, Greenpeace and UNICEF.
In 2023 I sold di:ga to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), giving the team responsibility for and a stake in their future. I now Chair the Board.
Before di:ga, I worked in senior communications roles for Oxfam and Global Witness in Oxford, Geneva, and Brazil. I started my career as a journalist at The Times and Mail on Sunday.
I have a first-class degree in English language and literature from Oxford University and a graduate diploma in Economics from Birkbeck.
I have a wife and two kids and live in a village in Oxfordshire.
