Communicating complexity for Chatham House

Chatham House has been a long-time client of di:ga strategy and Communications, the agency I set up and sold in 2023. I was always closely involved in our projects with them, often focused on refining report drafts, writing executive summaries, and then taking the key messages and producing supportive collateral such as opinion pieces, press releases, and web and social copy.

Their research is of such a high quality that it is a pleasure to be involved in fine-tuning the arguments and working out how to convey detail and frame messaging in a way that cuts through. The issues we worked on were always complex: resource scarcity, the geopolitics of climate change, the energy transition. The challenge was to retain the nuance and thoroughness of the research, while producing content that was clear and accessible, with a clear ‘so what?’.

Amy has a real knack for distilling complexity, honing arguments and sharpening recommendations. She has been invaluable in helping us to navigate the international news landscape – assisting us with placing and making our case as effectively as possible. Beyond this, she is a pleasure to work with.
