Facilitating meetings on online safety
In June and September 2026, I facilitated two full-day meetings for a network of organisations working on online safety. Working with a steering group, I drafted objectives for the meetings and designed agendas that would deliver to them. We took into account the diversity of the participants and the desire to ensure everyone’s voice was heard in the room.
We mixed up group work, with one-to-one conversation and plenary discussions, and co-created plans and strategies together that drove enthusiasm and buy in. We identified gaps the network could help fill, and agreed shared priorities across a complex and wide agenda.
There were around 35 people in the room for each meeting and, in each case, participants reported feeling engaged, motivated and excited by the opportunity to come together and make plans to advance their shared cause.
